Stewardship

At Norwegian Seafood, the North Atlantic Ocean is in our DNA. Our ancestors
have been living from it for millennia, thanks to our world-renowned marine stewardship. We love our all-natural, delicious and sustainable seafood and
want to share it with the world. Now and in the future. To make this possible,
it is important to think long-term in the choices we make as a company.

Conservation of Marine Resources

Preserving the health and abundance of our oceans is at the core of our stewardship efforts. We actively participate in sustainable fishing practices with our owns farms and initiatives, adhering to strict regulations and implementing measures to protect marine habitats. By embracing responsible farming and fishing techniques, we contribute to the long-term viability of marine ecosystems.

Responsible Sourcing and Traceability

We prioritize responsible sourcing through our own farms and by partnering with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability. Through rigorous traceability systems, we ensure that our seafood products are sourced ethically and legally, without compromising the environment or exploiting vulnerable species. By maintaining transparency throughout the supply chain, we provide customers with the assurance of sustainable seafood.

Contributing To Local Communities

Our local responsibility starts on our doorstep. We invest in local jobs and skills, partner fairly with regional suppliers, support youth, sports and culture, and provide support where it’s needed. We believe that sustainable seafood only works when our communities thrive.

Day to day, this means apprenticeships and on-the-job training, predictable demand for local businesses, safe operations and clean-ups around our sites, and practical help when the need arises. We show up with people, products and logistics, and we keep listening to neighbors and stakeholders.
