We’re proud to share that Norwegian Seafood has been nominated for the company of the year award in Urk where our Head Quarters and Processing facilities are located. We’re thankful for this local recognition of the global company we have built together with all our colleagues in Norway, the Netherlands and beyond.
The award highlights companies that demonstrate proven responsible entrepreneurship, with measurable attention for people, planet and profit. The jury also evaluates candidates on strong business development in recent years, creativity and innovation within their sector, contribution to employment on Urk, a positive impact on the Urk entrepreneurial image, and a healthy financial position.
As a company rooted in Urk, we believe strong entrepreneurship is built on long-term value. Over the past years we have worked hard to build a strong seafood company with a clear ambition: Our ambitions. Our goals perfectly align with the criteria set for nomination as Company of the year.
